I've been working on not using AI, however, there are many things involved in generating the background outside of AI, and I run the AI locally and it is in good portion trained off of my own art. I've gone into more detail about my ai usage in other comments, so I won't bore you with the details, but I have throughout my time making this cartoon continuously looked for ways of giving myself more creative tools in more artist friendly things. I've made 34 episodes of my cartoon entirely by myself, having drawn every character and the backgrounds are in large part my drawings as well. I've drawn so much I learned to write and draw with my left hand. This is all to say that I am an artist, however, I believe that as artists there are ways to embrace AI in a creative way, which is what in large part I attempt to do in my cartoon. That all being said, I will still look for ways to continue making episodes of my cartoon while relying less on AI, or at least having more creative control.
